How do I add a domain/website to my Container?
To accommodate a new domain/website on your Container, you will need to:
1. Create a new user account
2. Assign a domain to that user account
3. Provision hosting services
I. Creating a New User Account:
1. Login to your Virtuozzo Plesk Panel.
2. Click on the Clients shortcut.
3. Select Create Client Account.
4. Specify the contact information, login name and password.
5. If you have predefined user account templates, you can select the template you need from the Select template drop-down box. Otherwise, you can specify the resource limits and permissions on the next couple screens.
6. Allocate IP addresses to the account. Select the addresses you need from the Vacant IPs box and click Add >>.
9. Click Finish to complete the process. You will be redirected to the client account management screen.
II. Assigning a Domain to a User Account
This process assumes that the domain to be added is already registered. If the domain is not yet registered, you will first need to register it via your Account Admin Control Panel.
1. Click on the Domains shortcut.
2. Select Create Domain.
3. Enter the domain name.
4. Under Hosting Configuration, select the hosting type and enter the hosting login details.
5. When you are ready, click on the Next button.
III. Web Hosting Setup:
1. The next screen will be the Web hosting setup page, where you can specify hosting settings for the new domain.
2. Continue to the Limits setting page by clicking on the Next button.
3. When you are ready, click on the Finish button.
