How to change the Root password?

1. Login into Parallels Power Panel

2. Click Change Password

3. Enter a new password and confirm the password by typing it again.

To maintain security, it is recommended to occasionally change your password. The password should have 6 characters or more. Please do not choose passwords which are easy for others to guess. A strong and secure password should include a combination of letters (upper and lower case), numbers (0 – 9), and symbols (ie !@,#, $, %, ^, &, *). The server will support up to a 14 character password.

4. Click Change to save password. The system will indicate when the password has been changed successfully.
